Overview
As a Manual Quality Assurance Tester at TPLEX, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability. With your expertise, you will collaborate with our development and product teams to identify, document, and report software defects while validating that our applications meet specified requirements and standards.
Responsibilities
- Review project documentation to gain a deep understanding of requirements and specifications.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality and usability.
- Understanding of BDD and Selenium
- Perform thorough manual testing to identify and report defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure product stability and verify bug fixes.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports and communicate issues effectively to the development team.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
