SimpleTix’s platform, built on an outdated NET web form architecture, severely limited their scalability and hindered the company’s ability to innovate and grow. Additionally, the increasing demand from customers required a more robust and flexible infrastructure, something their existing setup could not provide.

Furthermore, SimpleTix lacked in-house expertise in Azure cloud services, which was crucial for modernizing their infrastructure and leveraging advanced cloud solutions. The absence of modern development practices also hindered their ability to enhance both backend and frontend functionalities, resulting in inefficiencies and a lack of agility in responding to market demands. These challenges necessitated a comprehensive overhaul of their technology stack to ensure scalability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

The Solution

Tplex addressed these challenges by devising a strategic solution to overhaul SimpleTix’s platform. The first step involved transitioning from the classic ASP.NET architecture to a modern ASP.NET Core framework. This shift provided a more robust and scalable backend, capable of handling increased loads and complex operations, ensuring that SimpleTix could efficiently manage its growing user base without performance degradation. Simultaneously, TPLEX focused on enhancing the frontend by implementing Angular, a powerful framework for building responsive and intuitive user interfaces. This enhancement significantly improved the user experience, allowing for faster load times, smoother transactions, and an overall more engaging platform for users. A critical component of the transformation was the migration to Microsoft Azure. TPLEX successfully transitioned SimpleTix’s existing databases and server architecture to the cloud, leveraging Azure’s flexibility and scalability. This migration enabled the platform to scale automatically during peak traffic times, ensuring consistent performance regardless of user demand. By configuring Azure services to auto-scale, SimpleTix could handle large volumes of traffic seamlessly, providing a reliable and efficient service to their customers.
