The prodigy of TPLEX, Rhithm is a wellness tool for students that assits teachers, counsellors, and administrators to check-in students ‘ mental wellbeing. It provides evidence-based activities, including motivational and wellness videos in an attempt to improve the wellbeing of students who may be angry or frustrated. When Rhithm was initially launched, it faced some challenges regarding scalability and seamless user experience. TPLEX stepped in to provide the necessary technological solutions to overcome these hurdles.
Rhithm needed to rapidly scale and enhance their educational platform, aiming to support a growing user base of over 5 million. The existing infrastructure struggled to support the growing user base and real-time data processing demands, leading to high operational costs and inefficiencies. They required robust, scalable technology solutions to handle increased load and ensure seamless user experiences.
Throughout the project, Tplex’s team took up various pivotal roles, from spearheading the Metrics Migration Initiative, encompassing UI, API, and data tasks, to taking sole ownership of the internal admin tool regulating administrator access. Additionally, we were integral to the Quality Assurance (QA) process. Our tactful approach not only unearthed hidden errors but also provided invaluable insights into performance and user experience for future enhancements. As with all our client engagements, our developers implemented rigorous quality control measures to ensure accountability for their contribution to Rhithim’s success.
Tplex filled the talent and knowledge gap within weeks,assembling a team of 20 professionals. The line-up included a team of 20 including Project Managers, .NET developers, software engineers, DevOps, and QA specialists. This rapid assembly ensured that the project proceeded without delay, maintaining high standards throughout the process.
By adopting a serverless architecture, TPLEX significantly reduced infrastructure costs and operational overhead, This transition resulted in long-term savings, making the platform more sustainable and cost-effective.
The implementation of microservices and serverless architecture provided the necessary scalability to efficiently support Rhithm’s large and growing user base. This alteration in architecture enabled the platform to manage growing traffic and data processing demands without experiencing performance issues.
