Rhithm, supported by TPLEX, is a student wellness tool that helps teachers, counselors, and administrators check in on students' mental well-being. It provides evidence-based activities, including motivational and wellness videos, to help improve student well-being. At launch, Rhithm faced challenges around scalability and seamless user experience—TPLEX stepped in to provide the technology solutions needed to overcome these hurdles.
Rhithm needed to rapidly scale and enhance its educational platform to support a growing user base of over 5 million. The existing infrastructure struggled to support the growing user base and real-time data processing demands, leading to high operational costs and inefficiencies. They required robust, scalable technology solutions to handle increased load and maintain 99.9% uptime.
Throughout the project, TPLEX's team took up various pivotal roles, from spearheading the Metrics Migration Initiative (UI, API, and data tasks) to taking sole ownership of the internal admin tool regulating administrator access. We were integral to QA, uncovering hidden errors and providing insights that improved performance and user experience. Rigorous quality measures ensured accountability for contributions to Rhithm's success.
TPLEX filled the talent and knowledge gap within weeks, assembling a team of 20 professionals including Project Managers, .NET developers, software engineers, DevOps, and QA specialists. This rapid ramp-up ensured the project moved forward without delay while maintaining high standards.
